In this talk I will give a short overview, of how the kate part can be extended with java script (indenters, ....) and how the KATE application can be scripted with python

The talk will help people understand some of the KATE internals and how they can adapt it more easily to their needs to be more productive with KATE. Perhaps it can also help to convert vim/emacs users ;-)
