Technicaltalk: Deploying Continuous Integration through the XIFI, a FI-PPP project

Introduction to the FI-PPP project, and how it helped power the Continuous Integration and helped process patches. Gerrit, OpenStack, and the EC, and how they fit together with the KDE workflow.
The FI-PPP project aims to foster collaboration between the public and private sectors within the EU. In this talk we would like to show how the FI-LAB public cloud can be used, and how we used it to power the continuous integration platform.
As an alternative to the pre-existing setup built on ReviewBoard, the Gerrit-based workflow provide attractive benefits like gated commits which guarantee that there are no regressions and build failures in the master branch.
