Technicaltalk: KDevelop in 2014
Another iteration over how we develop our software.
KDevelop is the main tool to develop for many developers both inside and outside KDE. We'll discuss what fronts we have opened after all these years and we'll discuss how we want to help our development processes to improve.
KDevelop can seem like a slow-paced project, but actually it never stops. In this presentation we'll talk about the new features that have been developed over the summer, such as the new QML/JS support, we'll discuss the state of C++ on the IDE and we will describe the different alternatives it offers when developing another language.
Furthermore, I'd like to take a look at the impact KF5 will make on KDevelop and discuss how we can embrace them both as a project and as a tool to support development using Qt and KDE Frameworks 5 applications.
