Schedule conf.kde.in 2020

QML was designed to help developers and designers work together - from prototyping, all the way up to real applications. While prototyping is a breeze with QML, the developerdesigner collaboration on real applications is more demanding. This is because designers expect instant feedback which is not possible if you need to restart your QML application after changing code.

QML Live [1] comes to the rescue - it provides a library and a bench program to allow live reloading QML apps. This enables developers and designers to sit together and iron out design issues live, without having to restart the application.

We will talk about the basic working principle behind QML Live followed by a short demo.
If time permits, a small demo of GammaRay as well.
