Description
Plasma is being porting as well to Qt6 and KF6. Some things will change, some things will stay more "stable". This talk will go over what this will mean for the end user, but also what it will mean for the developer.
It will be presented the VDG vision for the user experience, the current state of affairs and what will change for the plasmoid author, what api is different and why

Niccolò Venerandi will talk about the current plans and options for the use interface and visual refresh planned for Plasma6.
Biography
Marco Martin: I actively contribute to KDE since 2007, and currently i'm the maintainer of Plasma-framework and the Kirigami framework. I work for Bluesystems where among other things i'm also doing maintainership and developement work of the various Plasma components.
Niccolò Venerandi: I'm a contributor to KDE since four years ago, when I was selected as the goalkeeper of the Consistency goal. Nowadays I mostly work with the Promotion team, plus some work on Plasmashell (especially the panel!). I started a Youtube channel ("Nicco Loves Linux") roughly two years and a half regarding my involvement in KDE; it is now my main source of income.
